Mine: Nike. It has shaped me over the course of my life through sports and has defined my generation with major sports stars.
What is yours? And why?
And see a recent post from a couple of months ago on “tagging” vs. branding. Also, a great article on “what great brands do” from Fast Company.

Coca Cola. Probably because I love Atlanta and its history, not to mention that Coke tastes amazing.
And I’d be remiss not to mention ONE Atlanta Music, the brand my business partners and I have recently developed with the help of the largest independent public relations firm in America (Jackson Spalding). It’s a music blog that is in the process of branching out into a new music brand and artist agency. I’d love everyone to check it out.

“Air Jordan” is One of the most nostaligiac brands to me. I know it is a part of Nike but it has almost become it’s own entity. Growing up the little “Jump Man’ symbol was an inspiration to every school yard baller around.
Oh…and course I love…

I love Nike too, but one that’s pretty hot to me currently is Apple.

Apple, hands down. Apple products make my life so much easier! (and more fun!) My MacBookPro and I are BFF.

I would agree with Tony and say Patagonia or Nau. Both of these brands are able to represent a worldview that combines innovative top quality adventure gear with a culture and a way of life.
Patagonia created the 1% for the Planet campaign that has been adopted by many other organizations and Nau is attempting to take it one step further by allowing the consumer to choose a justice organization to contribute 5% to at the point of
purchase.
