i had a dream a few months ago that i was supposed to find out who obama was going to pick as vp… the best part was that my office was in a sushi restaurant.
if only dreams were reality.

I remember having the “Big Test” dream. Sometimes it involves just materializing in a strange classroom you’ve never been to before. You know you’re being held accountable for knowing stuff, but you can’t ever remember enrolling in the school much less attending any classes. How come you’re never lectured in dreams, only tested?
A similar dream I sometimes have is called “You Never Really Graduated”, where grown-up me is riding the school bus to attend some elementary school where I grew up because due to some mix-up on my part, I failed to learn what it takes to leave that level.

Hey Brad,

These two dreams are connected and share common themes of surprise and a degree of disappointment.

The settings of a college classroom and a dangerous plane ride are rather common in dreams. Both settings represent something fundamental about life that give me insight into the meaning of these two dreams. These dreams are also age appropriate.

Life is not a college course that we are well-prepared for. As much as we try to study for the tests of life, surprising twists and turns often leave us feeling like you did in dream #1. Here is the key lesson – in the future, you will be in a place where you will have to rely more on instinct and intuition and not research and study habits.

Dream #2 is a dream about mortality and control. A plane crash or turbulence is the essential symbol of loss of control.

That’s all I can say now man. I hope this insight helps. Take it with a grain of salt.

I’ve heard of this guy named Joseph that apparently is pretty good at deciphering weird dreams. I think dream #1 has something to do with 7 years of… okay never mind.

I dream nightly. Often dreams that seem so real I wake up and seriously have to think for a minute because I think they actually took place. Topics and situations vary.

When I was a kid I used to have a recurring dream (often for a number of months). I was running down a dirt road, jumping over filing cabinets while being chased by a dragon. At one point I jump off the road and into the back of a brown station wagon to hide. The dragon finds me and I wake up.

Now make sense of that. I may need therapy.

dude, this is so weird that you’re even mentioning weird dreams. seriously. I’ve been having the weirdest dreams these past 2 weeks, and I’m not sure what to make of it. it’s weird that this is happening with you too.
