On the Journey

Follower vs. Fan

Follower vs. Fan.Is there a difference?

Followers are committed. Fans can be fickle.

Followers trust their leader. Fans trust their leader only when it benefits them.

Followers want a vision. Fans want a show.

Followers ask “what have i done for you?” lately. Fans ask “what have you done for me lately?”

Followers are in for the long term. Fans are in for the short term.

are you a follower or a fan?

You can’t follow everyone…(except on Twitter haha).

So I guess I follow 100ish people, and fan a bunch more.

But following more would just be impossible.

i am approaching the issue more from the perspective of being a follower of Jesus vs. a fan of Jesus. Lots of folks are fans, but way less are truly followers.

wasn’t necessarily looking at it from a current day twitter follower or facebook friend perspective.
